Yes, I'm Still Alive
Just in case anybody is reading this, yes, I'm still alive. I'm working on a CD at Silicon Valley Records. I keep meaning to start drawing this strip again. We'll see.

TM Comment System Info

Thanks for joining the TM Comment System! This is your chance to get involved with the TM community and to interact with fellow readers and staff by commenting (and replying to comments about) cartoons, news items, you name it! Here's some basic information.

Why should I register? The TM Comments system is free! Ever wanted to make your thoughts known about a new cartoon or TM News item? That's what the Comments system is for. If you're not registered, you can't comment.

What happens after I register? Upon registration you are immediately logged in to our Comment system. We use a very secure cookie for authentication. It is encrypted and tagged so that no one can re-use it to impersonate you. We do use a preferences cookie in order to store your choices, but this contains absolutely no personal information.

What information do I have to give you? We need a valid email address, your selected nickname and a password. Choose your nickname carefully! Not only does it identify you to the community, it is also used to identify your postings in the Comments system. Once you choose your nickname, it cannot be changed.

Are you going to sell my information? No. You should see our spam filter list some time. We don't like maintaining a multi-megabyte block list any more than you do....

Who holds the copyright on this stuff anyway? Depends. Any posts made in the Comment system are implicitly copyright by the poster. Posting in this forum gives Tech Magazine and its staff the right to have this content on our site in perpetuity. All other rights, including the right to repost on other sites, are reserved by the original author of the material. All material on the site outside the Comments system is copyright by the staff of Tech Magazine.

Tech Magazine: The Comic Strip is a product of the warped mind of its author. References to Santa Cruz, California are intended as satire only, though some are loosely based on actual events. Any people, places, or stories are fictional although loose parallels to actual events may exist. To the best of our knowledge, there is no magazine called "Tech Magazine".
